Hi, my name is Teri. I was born with hypoplastic right heart syndrome in 1978. By the time I was 12 I had developed Eismengers syndrome, right lung pulmonary hypertension. I have endured several heart surgeries and other heart related surgeries. At age 31 I was told by my doctors that if I didn't quit working I would probably not be alive for another year. So at age 31 I applied for disability and have been on SSDI for seven years now.My life the past few years is about adjusting to a new normal.
